Itinerary

Day 1  Santiago City
Pick up at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon.


Day 2 Santiago City tour
We will spent our day visiting the main attractions of the city, from the historic downtown to Neruda’s home.


Day 3  Valparaiso and Viña del Mar
Today we will go to the city of Valparaíso which is World Heritage by UNESCO.


Day 4  Valparaíso City Tour
In the extension of two sloping hills a city grew spontaneously in different hills, it is characterized by its ski lifts, stairs, alleys and quaint architecture.


Day 5  Flight to Puerto Montt
We will take a flight to Puerto Montt.


Day 6  City tour Puerto Mont and Puerto Varas
Today we will enjoy Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, which is known as the City of Roses, is the gateway to the Chilean Patagonia and one of the most beautiful cities in Chile.


Day 7  Visit Valdivia City
In the city of Valdivia joins the rivers Calle Calle and Valdivia and is recognized as one of the most beautiful cities in Chile.


Day 8  Valdivia – Villarrica  
In Villarrica you will find wonderful hot springs and Huerquehue National Park.


Day 9  Visit Conguillio National Park
Some of the greatest attractions of Conguillio National Park are ‘Llaima’ Volcano, its lakes and lagoons of volcanic origin, and the ancient forests, many of which are unexplored.


Day 10  Depart from Pucon to Temuco. Flight to Santiago
Time to departure from Pucon or Villarrica to Temuco Airport to board back to Santiago.


Day 11  Free day at Santiago City
We will have free time to enjoy the city of Santiago.


Day 12  Departure Day
Time to say good bye and departure!

  • Day 1 - Pick up at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport

    Pick up at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport and transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon.


  • Day 2 - City tour Santiago (Overnight Santiago)

    We begin at the San Francisco Church built in the 16th century, the oldest architectonic expression of the capital, built after the death of its founders. Afterward is a visit to the Government Palace “La Moneda”, the Plaza de Armas (main square) and some national monuments such as the Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the City Hall of Santiago. We continue on the morning tour to Santa Lucia Hill, where Pedro de Valdivia founded the city in 1541, and San Cristobal Hill. Finally, after crossing the Mapocho River, there will be a tour of the different residential neighbourhoods including Bellavista. 

    Enjoy time for lunch at the Central Market. This afternoon we depart for Pablo Neruda’s Home: Nobel Poet Pablo Neruda lived in a house on la Chascona overlooking in Santiago. The eccentrically designed and constructed house is now a museum containing his works, his collections and a vivid look at the lifestyle of Chile’s beloved man of letters.


  • Day 3 - Valparaíso and Viña del Mar (Overnight Valparaíso)

    Departures from your hotel in Santiago, through the wine valley of Casablanca, arrive to the coast of the Region of Valparaiso.

    Valparaiso is Chile’s main port and known for its bohemian, artistic vibe and lovely vistas. Its UNESCO-designated historic downtown offers charming colonial architecture, great seafood restaurants, markets and stores. Enjoy a Guided City Tour. We begin at the Plaza Sotomayor for an introduction to the city that focuses on street art, cultural history and politics.

    In Viña del Mar we visit the city, which will include the Quinta Vergara, the Reñaca, main neighborhood of this city.

    On the right side of the Muelle Baron you will see a huge cement rock, full of sea lions sleeping or playing.

     


  • Day 4 - Valparaíso City Tour (Overnight Valapariso)

    We depart to the Museum of Natural History. Exhibits anthropological and natural science collections. It contains a specialized reference library and organizes temporary exhibitions on its premises. It occupies the ancient Lyon Palace, an architectural “jewel” in Valparaiso, which was reputedly built in 1881.

    Enjoy lunch and exploring at the Valparaiso Cultural Park. This cultural center built from the bones of a prison has a little bit of everything including excellent murals in the old exercise yards, rotating arts exhibits, live theater and dance, and a walkable park area. Depart for the Viewpoint Diego Portales and enjoy a breathtaking view before departing for dinner.


  • Day 5 - Flight to Puerto Montt (Overnight Puerto Varas or Puerto Varas)

    In a schedule to be confirmed, we will leave from Viña del Mar to Santiago towards the airport to board a domestic flight to the city of Puerto Montt.

    Something you can not miss in Puerto Montt is to visit the Osorno volcano and its always snowed summit.

     


  • Day 6 - City tour Puerto Mont and Puerto Varas (Overnight Puerto Varas)

    Puerto Montt, a city that has the most fishing a business activity in the region. Here we can see a panoramic view of the bay and Tenglo Island. In addition, you can visit the donwtown, the Cathedral and the craft market Angelmó.

    Puerto Varas, known as the “City of Roses”In this city coexist together German traditions with Chilean culture. Highlighting the wooden architecture, food and crafts. So, we visit the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and Costanera Avenue.

  • Day 7 - Visit Valdivia City (Overnight Valdivia)

    Valdivia, Chile, the City of Rivers, was founded on the Bahía de Corral by Pedro de Valdivia on February 9, 1522 who named the new settlement Santa María la Blanca de Valdivia.

    Taking advantage Of the harbor, the rivers and the strategic location for ships rounding Cape Horn or navigating the Strait of Magellan on the route to Lima and the Viceroyalty of Peru, the founding fathers were pleased to find the area rich in timber and gold.

    On arrival at Valdivia, we make a city tour through the city, including a visit to The Fort Niebla.

    boat-achiote-roads In Valdivia you can take the Isla Huapi cruise, or the all-day voyage on the seven rivers and get a feel for the historic significance, natural beauty and wildlife of the region.

     


  • Day 8 - Valdivia – Villarrica (Overnight Villarrica or Pucón)

    During the morning departure from the city of Valdivia to Villarrica and Pucon.

    Villarrica offers the perfect combination between thermal facilities and natural surroundings. Located in the environs of the park, Termas Geometricas has 16 strategically located thermal pools, allowing the visitors to never feel overcrowded.

    The natural surroundings are exuberant and the facilities are simple but very cozy.


  • Day 9 - Visit Conguillío National Park (Overnight Pucón or Villa Rica)

    Conguillío National Park, covers 60,833 hectares, with magnificent Llaima Volcano (3125 meters above sea level) in the center, becoming the main feature of the area.

    This great Andean Valley has four small lakes created by volcanic slag. The landscape has been sculpted by volcanic lava fields, Araucaria forests and the Conguillio Lake, the largest in the area, where its pristine waters freeze during harsh winters.

    hike-achiote-roads The park has 12 trails for varying skill levels. If you are in good physical shape, don’t miss the 6 hour hike to Sierra Nevada.

     


  • Day 10 - Depart from Pucon to Temuco. Flight to Santiago (Overnight Santiago)

    In a schedule to be confirmed, departure from Pucon or Villarrica to Temuco Airport to board back to Santiago.


  • Day 11 - Free day (Overnight Santiago)

    We will have the  whole day to explore the city of Santiago.


  • Day 12 - Departure Day

    After several days in the amazing Chile, is time to go back home. Take a ride in our bus to the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. And Good-bye Chile!
